It's a Wedding Guest Book! It's a Quilt!

From Offbeat Brides - a website that I love because it showcases some gorgeous 'alternative' (read: non-traditional white meringue gown) weddings by people whose personalities and background are probably not given to a church wedding.

Anyway, this is the neatest idea: a wedding guest book quilt. It looks like it's pretty much just a pack (or two) of solid charm squares with a permanent marker at the wedding. Have your guests leave a message on their charm square and sew together for a quilt!

It would make a perfect backing for a pieced front! Baste, quilt, and bind it, and it's definitely one present they can't avoid will remember!
